JAMMU: One person died and three others were injured in a collision between two vehicles near the Bhata Dhurian Nar forest area of Poonch district on Friday afternoon.
According to sources, the accident occurred around 3:10 PM when an Ertiga and a Baleno collided.
All four occupants sustained injuries and were initially taken to the Army Hospital in Bhimber Gali (BG). One of the injured, Amrit Kumar, son of Jaghat Ram, succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The other three injured — Nilam Kumari, wife of Amrit Raina; Ansh Sharma, son of Jeet Kumar; and Ajay Kumar, all residents of Sunderbani — were referred to GMC Rajouri for advanced medical care.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings.
