Jammu: An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale struck the region of Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, at 18:34:44 IST today. The quake, with its epicenter located at a latitude of 33.35 N and longitude of 76.62 E, occurred at a depth of 5 kilometers, as per National Center for seismology.
While there are no immediate reports of casualties or damages, the tremors sent shockwaves through the area, causing panic among residents.
