The Delhi Police has announced the arrest of ten alleged drug peddlers, including three foreign nationals, for operating a narcotics network that supplied drugs to Telangana through courier services. In a coordinated crackdown across Delhi-NCR, more than 40 foreign nationals linked to the syndicate were also detained. Officials stated that the cartel, largely run by African nationals, concealed narcotics in shirt collars and shoe soles before dispatching them via courier.

The operation, conducted jointly by Delhi Police, Telangana Police and the Narcotics Control Bureau, resulted in the seizure of drugs worth Rs 12 crore, including cocaine, MDMA, heroin and over 5,000 MD pills. During the raids, conducted at multiple locations such as Mehrauli, Sant Garh, Nilothi, Greater Noida, Munirka, Uttam Nagar and Pratap Enclave, several key accused were arrested, including foreign nationals and Indian facilitators responsible for managing finances, procuring fraudulent SIM cards and providing logistical support.

Authorities stated that the crackdown dealt a significant blow to the cartel’s operations, which depended on overstaying foreign nationals, rented premises and layered financial channels. Further investigation is underway to trace remaining members of the network and identify its financial links.
