DODA,: The Government ANMT School Doda organized a debate competition on the crucial topics of Leprosy, Tuberculosis, and Biomedical Waste Management today. The event aimed to raise awareness among students about these important health concerns and their management.
The programme was graced by Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Om Kumar, as the Chief Guest, while Principal ANMT Doda, Vidya Kotwal, along with Dr. Javed Ahmed Parray, Mohammad Shafi Attu, and Advocate Sanjeev Rana, were also present. The staff of ANMT School and enthusiastic students also attended the event.
A total of 10 students from different paramedical courses participated in the debate competition, delivering insightful speeches on their respective topics. Their presentations reflected deep understanding and awareness of the subjects.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Om Kumar highlighted the significance of leprosy and tuberculosis awareness, as well as the proper management of biomedical waste. He conducted an interactive session, providing valuable insights to the students.
Principal ANMT Vidya Kotwal, also addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude to the CMO and other officials for their presence and support in making the event successful.
Later, participation certificates were presented to the students in recognition of their efforts and engagement in the competition.
