Akhnoor:In a commendable initiative under Op Sadbhavana, the Indian Army has launched a 30-day Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) & Self-Defense Training Program at the Government Girls Primary School, Ambaran, Akhnoor. This specially designed program aims to empower young school girls with vital self-defense skills, enhance their fitness, and instil unshakable confidence. Focused on the principles of Women Empowerment and safety, the program covers various martial arts disciplines, including Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and other self-defense techniques. Under the guidance of professional trainers and with the full support of the Indian Army, the participating students are receiving hands-on, practical training to prepare them for real-world scenarios.

The initiative not only equips the girls with physical skills but also fosters mental resilience, discipline, and teamwork.
