Doda:As part of ongoing outreach and helping local population, the Indian Army located at Bhaderwah has taken an initiative to conduct a Medical and Veterinary Camp at Kelad, Doda on 09 Mar 2025.
The camp was inaugurated by Officer of Indian Army, who assured the locals of unconditional and everlasting support of Army to the locals. A medical team from the unit including Medical Officer/Nursing Assistance provided the much needed medical cover to the gents, ladies, children and elderly people during the camp.
A large number of patient’s turned up for the medical check-up from the nearby villages. This medical camp was organized by making necessary arrangements including various types of medicines, medical equipment and facilities for examination of patients. Wide publicity was given to ensure that maximum people avail this opportunity in the camp. During the camp a total of 137 patients and various animals were treated which included 45 x ladies, 64 x gents and 28 x children including Gujjar & Bakkarwal community. The local population were grateful to the Army for their concentrated efforts and assistance in providing medical aid at their door step.
The Army also gave information about Health, Nutrition and Child Care to the parents in order to spread medical awareness amongst the general populace.
