Silver futures rise Rs 174 to Rs 98,306/kg

New Delhi: Silver prices on Wednesday grew Rs 174 to Rs 98,306 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose by Rs 174 or 0.18 per cent to Rs 98,306 per kg in a business turnover of 20,731 lots.

Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.

Globally, silver was trading 0.54 per cent lower at USD 32.76 per ounce in New York.
