ADC Nowshera convenes Public outreach camp at Border Village Kalal

RAJOURI,: In a major people centric initiative, a Public Outreach camp was today conducted at the border village of Kalal, Tehsil Nowshera, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma. The camp was organized to provide a platform to the residents of the far-flung border area to voice their concerns and seek on-the-spot redressal of their grievances.

The Public Outreach camp was presided over by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Pritam Lal Thapa who was accompanied by all sectoral officers of the Nowshera Sub-District.

 The officers listened to the issues of the general public, demanding road connectivity, augmentation of water supply, up-gradation of power infrastructure, irrigation facilities, and effective implementation of welfare schemes. The officers assured timely resolution of the issues raised at the camp.

The ADC reiterated the commitment of the district administration to ensure participatory governance and equitable development, especially in the border and remote areas. He directed the officers to resolve the issues projected during the camp on priority and submit an action-taken report in the coming days.

The Camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the residents of Kalal and adjoining villages, who appreciated the efforts of the district administration in bringing governance to their doorsteps.

Officers in attendance were XEN PWD (R&B) Division Nowshera, XEN Jal Shakti Division Nowshera, XEN I&FC Division Nowshera, Deputy CEO Nowshera, Tehsildar Nowshera, BDO Seri, AEE JPDCL Nowshera and other officers and officials.
