The third schedule of the highly anticipated film Border 2 has kickstarted at the iconic National Defence Academy, Pune. Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty have joined Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan as the cast comes together to portray a grand chapter of valour and unity.

The production team — led by Producer Bhushan Kumar, Nidhi Dutta, Director Anurag Singh, Co-producer Shiv Chanana, and Binoy Gandhi — is working tirelessly to bring this saga of courage and brotherhood to life.

Border 2 promises to be an epic tale of patriotism and passion, showcasing the unwavering spirit of our armed forces. With its stellar cast and dedicated crew, the film is poised to deliver a monumental cinematic experience.

Backed by a powerful production team including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. This sequel continues the legacy of honouring the heroism and indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers, taking audiences on a spectacular journey of patriotism, courage, and sacrifice.

In a recent interview with Zoom, Suniel Shetty revealed that his son has been unfairly targeted after choosing to commit fully to Border 2. According to Suniel, negative articles were strategically planted to paint Ahan in a poor light for prioritising the war film over other projects.

“I have told Ahan one thing, iske aage filmein karo nahin karo, ye film mein jaan laga dena,” Suniel told Zoom. “Because this is the film that will keep you alive, it will keep your father alive for decades to come. 26 January and 15 August ko humein dekhoge hi dekhoge.”

Suniel shared that Ahan had turned down multiple films to focus solely on Border 2, and that decision came with consequences. “Ahan let go a lot of things for this film. Bohot saari cheezein uske haath se nikal gayi egos ke chakkar mein. He was removed from films and then blamed. Rumours were spread that he comes with expensive bodyguards, paid articles were published,” he said.
