Rajouri:In continuation of its commitment to strengthening bonds with local communities under the AWAM outreach initiative, the Indian Army organised an awareness lecture on the “Importance of Education in Life” at Sauni and Alal Darra in Rajouri District.
The primary objective of the event was to enlighten students and local residents about the value of education and the various initiatives launched by the Government to promote literacy. A representative from the Indian Army delivered a motivational lecture, focusing on the transformative power of education and the opportunities it creates for personal and societal growth. It was highlighted that the region possesses immense potential in the form of bright and talented youth. However, the lack of proper guidance often hinders them from realizing their full capabilities.
The interaction was aimed at nurturing this raw potential and motivating students to pursue academic excellence and consider a career in the Armed Forces through platforms like Sainik Schools, other educational institutions, and pre-commissioning training academies. The lecture also included discussions on available guidance, coaching, and the process of joining the Armed Forces, with an emphasis on continued support from the Army. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals and students, including men, women, and school-going children. The Army representative encouraged the youth to stay focused on their goals and contribute positively to society and the nation as responsible citizens. The assurance of ongoing assistance and mentorship from the Indian Army was well received by all.
