Reasi: In a continuing effort to foster holistic development and empower local communities, the Indian Army organized a comprehensive lecture on “Personality Development” for the youth and residents of the remote area of Shikari, District Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir on 07 Jul 2025.
The lecture aimed to equip attendees with essential life skills, enhance self-confidence and provide guidance on effective communication, leadership and positive attitude building. This initiative is part of the Indian Army’s broader commitment to community welfare and nation-building in the region. “We believe in investing in the potential of our youth,” stated the representative of the Indian Army.
“Personality development is crucial for personal growth and plays a significant role in shaping responsible and successful individuals. By bringing such initiatives to remote areas like Shikari, we hope to provide valuable opportunities and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.” Expert speakers from the Indian Army conducted the session, drawing upon their extensive experience in leadership, discipline and human resource development.
The interactive lecture covered various aspects, including: Self-awareness, Effective communication, Building self-confidence and a positive outlook, Leadership qualities and teamwork. The Indian Army invited all interested individuals, especially the youth of Shikari and surrounding areas, to attend this beneficial lecture. The event was open to all and aimed to create a positive impact on the lives of the participants.
