Poonch: The Indian Army conducted a lecture on “How to Join the Indian Army” at Surankote on 16 July 2025. The lecture aimed to raise awareness among young boys about career opportunities in the Army, equipping them with the knowledge to make life-defining decisions and offering guidance on various entry schemes into the Indian Army.
The session provided valuable insights into career aspects and life goals, covering crucial details such as age limits, syllabus, training duration, form-filling procedures and examination dates for all Indian Army entry schemes.
The Army representative also highlighted several initiatives and projects, such as NDA preparation classes and training for Agniveer aspirants. The lecture emphasized the importance of believing in one’s capabilities and taking proactive steps toward achieving career goals. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 65 students across various classes of Government Higher Secondary School, Surankote, demonstrating the Army’s commitment to offering better future opportunities and career prospects in the region.
