SRINAGAR: The Amarnath Yatra resumed on Friday after being suspended for a day due to heavy rainfall across Kashmir, officials confirmed.
A new batch of pilgrims set out for the holy cave shrine from the Nunwan and Baltal base camps, they added.
The pilgrimage was halted on Thursday following landslides and incidents of shooting stones triggered by the downpour along the challenging route.
