Mumbai: Actor Kajol is set to return as Noyonika in the second season of The Trial On Wednesday, the makers announced that the new season will premiere on JioHotstar on September 19, 2025.
Directed by Umesh Bist and produced by Banijay Asia, the series also features Jisshu Sengupta, Sonali Kulkarni, Sheeba Chadha, Alyy Khan, Kubbra Sait, Gaurav Pandey, and Karanvir Sharma.
Sharing her excitement, Kajol said, “Professionally, it has been an incredibly enriching year for me. I’ve had the opportunity to explore a variety of characters and stories — and among them, Noyonika holds a special place in my heart. From being an underdog in the first season to finding her ground in the cut-throat world of law, I’ve truly enjoyed stepping into her shoes once again. I can’t wait for everyone to experience what we’ve created this time. It’s been a true labor of love.”
