HUAILAI: China announced on Thursday that it has successfully completed a major test of its manned lunar lander’s landing and takeoff capabilities at a facility in Huailai County, Hebei Province.
The test, conducted on Wednesday, marks a significant milestone in China’s manned lunar exploration program. According to the China Manned Space Agency, it also represents the country’s first test simulating the extraterrestrial landing and ascent of a crewed spacecraft.
