Jammu: Security forces launched extensive searches across fifteen locations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, targeting the residences of Pakistan-based terrorists, officials said on Friday.
According to a senior police officer, the searches were carried out at the homes of terrorists currently residing in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, who are believed to be orchestrating terror-related activities in the region from across the border.
The operations began on Thursday evening and are part of a broader crackdown aimed at dismantling the terror network active in the district.
“These searches are a key step in tightening the security grip on cross-border terrorism,” said Doda Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Mehta, who is overseeing the operation.
Further information will be provided once the operation concludes, he added.
