BUDGAM: As the 79th Independence Day approaches, Budgam district is witnessing a surge in patriotic enthusiasm under the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign 2025. Educational institutions across the district have taken the lead in hosting a range of vibrant and creative events aimed at fostering a deep sense of nationalism among students.
At HSS Khanda, a colourful art and craft exhibition themed around the national flag showcased students’ creativity and commitment to cultural pride. Tricolour-inspired artworks reflected both artistic flair and patriotic devotion.
Meanwhile, HSS Chadoora held an impressive exhibition of hand-crafted artifacts, all designed by students to celebrate the Tiranga. The event saw enthusiastic participation and highlighted the deep patriotic sentiments among the youth.
In HSS Khansahib, students engaged in a unique Rakhi-making activity, designing tricolour-themed Rakhis. This initiative beautifully merged traditional celebration with national pride, symbolising unity, love, and devotion to the country.
These events are part of a wider series of activities being conducted under the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative in Budgam. The campaign aims to strengthen the emotional connection of citizens—especially the youth—with the national flag and the ideals it stands for.
