BSF troops along the International Border in Kathua shoot at and arrest Pakistani intruder

JAMMU: On Monday, BSF troops in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir apprehended a Pakistani intruder who was injured after they opened fire upon spotting a group trying to cross the International Border.

The alert Border Security Force (BSF) personnel noticed the intruders near the Chandwan and Kothey border outposts in the Hiranagar sector around 4 pm and issued challenges to stop, officials said.

When the group ignored repeated warnings, the BSF troops stationed at the forward posts opened fire, injuring one of the intruders.
