JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar today inspected M A Stadium to review preparations for the Divisional-level Independence Day celebrations 2025.
The inspection was attended by DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua, DIG Traffic, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, SSP Security, department heads, and senior officials from police and civil administration.
At the venue, the Divisional Commissioner assessed arrangements made by the concerned departments, including seating, security, parking, entry gates, transportation for participants and attendees, power supply, drinking water, medical facilities, sanitation, decorations, toilets, and other essential services.
Nodal officers were instructed to ensure top-quality arrangements for the national festival, including waterproof tents, media galleries, and clear parking signage.
The Traffic Department was directed to widely publicize parking locations where RTC buses will shuttle citizens to and from the venue.
