SRINAGAR: Secretary of the Information Technology (IT) Department, Dr. Piyush Singla, today chaired a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat to review the progress of the Single Window System implementation and the migration of the Data Centre.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency, Managing Director of SICOP, Director Finance of the IT Department, Additional Secretaries from the IT Department, Additional Secretary of the Industries & Commerce Department, Manager of SICOP, and SeMT representatives.
Participants discussed the end-to-end integration of services within the Single Window System, aimed at providing citizens and businesses with seamless and unified access to government services. The current status of the Data Centre migration was reviewed, challenges were identified, and timelines were set for the completion of remaining tasks.
Secretary Dr. Singla emphasized the critical importance of integrating the Single Window System with all stakeholders to realize the platform’s full potential — delivering true single-window access, ensuring comprehensive service delivery, and enhancing efficiency in governance.
