Srinagar: Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district attached properties worth over Rs 2.11 crore, identified as “proceeds of terrorism,” on Wednesday, police said.
The attached land parcels measure a total of two kanals and 12 marlas, according to a police spokesperson.
At Watapora, land measuring one kanal and nine marlas belonging to Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat was seized under various sections of the law, the spokesperson said.
In another case, one kanal and half a marla of land in Chandaji village, owned by Jameel Ahmad Khan, was also attached. Additionally, two marlas in Aloosa village, belonging to Manzoor Ahmad Dar, were seized.
The spokesperson stated that these properties were linked to alleged activities facilitating and promoting terrorism in the district.
