Tirumala: Actor Janhvi Kapoor visited Tirumala Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh to offer prayers on the 62nd birth anniversary of her mother, the late Sridevi. She was accompanied by her Param Sundari co-star, Sidharth Malhotra.
On Wednesday evening, Sidharth shared a video on Instagram, capturing the two actors heading to the sacred temple. The clip showed a lighthearted moment as they walked together, with Sidharth saying, “Hello guys, we’re heading towards Tirupati,” only to be gently corrected by Janhvi, smiling, “Tirumala, not Tirupati.”
Sidharth, visiting the temple for the first time, expressed his excitement: “Main pehli baar yahan par aaya hu, Janhvi harr saal aati rehti hai aur iss baar meri Sundari mujhe yahan lekar aari hai.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi and Sidharth are preparing for the release of Param Sundari, set to hit theatres on August 29. The film, directed by Tushar Jalota, marks the actors’ first collaboration. The trailer hints at their captivating romantic chemistry, telling the story of Sidharth, a Punjabi munda from Delhi, who falls in love with Janhvi, a girl from Kerala, leading to a whirlwind of fun and chaos.
Reflecting on the film, Sidharth said, “With Param Sundari, I feel like I’m revisiting the kind of romance I grew up loving, but telling it in a way that feels fresh and relatable. Param has that Delhi boy charm, with a love story that crosses worlds. We wanted it to look as beautiful as it feels, and Kerala’s magic really made that happen. I hope the audience feels the same warmth and joy we felt while making it.”
Janhvi shared her connection to her character, Sundari: “Sundari is deeply personal to me. Her grace, quiet strength, and love for her roots resonate with my own South Indian heritage. Shooting in Kerala, surrounded by such beauty, I felt an emotional connection to her world that I hope the audience will feel too.”
Sanjay Kapoor and Manjot Singh also play pivotal roles in the film.
