BHUBANESWAR: Emphasizing that independence should not lead to complacency, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday urged Indians to work hard and make sacrifices to preserve it.
Addressing a gathering at the RSS office in Bhubaneswar on Independence Day, Bhagwat said, “Our ancestors secured India’s freedom through supreme sacrifices. We must also strive diligently to keep it alive, strengthen the nation’s self-reliance, and enable India to emerge as a ‘Vishwa Guru’—a global leader guiding a world embroiled in conflicts.”
