MEERUT: An Army jawan returning to duty after leave was allegedly assaulted by toll plaza staff in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district, officials said on Monday.
The incident occurred on Sunday at Bhuni toll plaza in Sarurpur area when Kapil, a soldier from Gotka village, was heading back to join duty.
Police have arrested six people in connection with the case.
