Jaipur: Rajasthan’s Manika Vishwakarma has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025 and expressed heartfelt gratitude to her mentors, teachers, parents, and friends for their support. She will now represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand later this year.

The grand finale of the Miss Universe India pageant was held on August 18 in Jaipur, where Manika shone on stage and claimed the prestigious title.

“This feeling is incredible. The journey has been amazing. I want to thank my mentors, teachers, parents, friends, and family for everything. I aim to represent India with my best efforts and bring the crown home,” Manika said.

Originally from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, Manika was also crowned Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024. Reflecting on her journey, she shared, “Rather than struggle, this is a journey of preparation. My journey began in Ganganagar, and then I moved to Delhi to prepare for the pageant. Building self-confidence and courage is essential, and everyone around me played a big role in nurturing my talent. I am truly thankful to everyone for their guidance and support.”

On the benefits of participating in beauty pageants, Vishwakarma explained, “Pageantry is more than just a competition; it shapes your character. It gives you a lifetime opportunity to inspire others. The skills, personality, and confidence you gain stay with you forever, no matter which field you step into.”

Earlier, on Instagram, she reflected on her transition: “The day I passed my crown as Miss Universe Rajasthan was also the day I stepped into the Miss Universe India final auditions. It was a moment of letting go and moving forward simultaneously. The decision came from conviction, focus, and a clear vision of who I am becoming.”

She added, “Closing one chapter while beginning another on the same day is not an accident—it’s alignment. Growth doesn’t always wait for a pause. With grace and determination, I chose to trust the timing, honor the past, and boldly embrace what comes next. I am grateful to my mentors, teachers, and confidants for believing in me and guiding me toward my best self.”

Miss International India Roosh Sindhu also shared her excitement: “This is what my fans wanted, and it was a surprise to me as I didn’t know there is a Miss India International title. I hope to do my best for India on the international stage.”

Actor and jury member Urvashi Rautela said, “The competition was very tough, but we have a deserving winner. It’s also my 10-year anniversary in this field, and we are thrilled to have her as the winner. She will surely make us proud at Miss Universe.”

Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh finished as the first runner-up, Mehak Dhingra from Haryana as the second runner-up, and Amishi Kaushik secured the third runner-up position.
