SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir contingent, after completing a 21-day training camp, is set to compete in the inaugural Khelo India Water Sports Festival (KIWSF) beginning August 21. The 17-member squad is aiming for a strong show to earn national recognition.
The three-day festival, running till August 23, will host competitions in rowing, canoeing, and kayaking. Over 400 athletes from 36 states and Union Territories will showcase their skills at the iconic Dal Lake, a globally renowned tourist destination.
