SRINAGAR: The first-ever three-day Khelo India Water Sports Festival (KIWSF) kicked off at the iconic Dal Lake on Thursday, bringing together over 400 athletes, officials said.
Participants will compete in rowing, canoeing, and kayaking, with 24 gold medals up for grabs during the event.
Adding to the excitement, the festival will also feature three demonstration events — water skiing, shikara boat sprints, and a dragon boat race.
