Jammu : A driver was killed and two others injured after their vehicle was struck by a landslide near Malai Nallah in Mahore, Reasi district, early on Saturday.
According to sources, a goods carrier vehicle with registration number JK20B-9578 was caught in the landslide at Malai Nallah in the early hours. The driver and two passengers were immediately taken to PHC Dharmari, where the driver was declared dead by doctors.
The deceased has been identified as Shahbaz Ahmad, son of Bashir Ahmad, resident of Jamlan. The injured are Javeed, son of Mohd Hussain from Kansooli, and Abdul Gani.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
