Srinagar: At least 22 individuals were rescued by the SDRF after being stranded in the Lidder River near Darshan Gam in Ashmuqam, South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to sources, the SDRF Anantnag launched a rescue operation today following reports of 22 people trapped in the river.
Thanks to the concerted efforts of the SDRF team and local Anantnag police, all 22 were safely evacuated.
Residents have praised the prompt action, lauding the teams for saving lives.
