RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, has suspended Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) JPDCL Sunderbani, Sanjay Gupta, for remaining absent from his post without prior approval or informing the competent authority. Gupta will remain attached to the office of the Superintending Engineer (SE) JPDCL Rajouri until further orders.
The suspension follows a violation of clear instructions issued by the Deputy Commissioner during a disaster preparedness meeting held yesterday.
To maintain smooth operations, the AEE JPDCL Nowshera has been assigned to oversee routine work in the Sunderbani Sub-Division. Additionally, Executive Engineer JPDCL Kalakote has been appointed as the Enquiry Officer and directed to submit a detailed report within 10 days.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that all officers must remain alert and responsive, especially given the current weather conditions, and warned that strict action will be taken in case of any negligence.
