Realme has unveiled two new concept phones in China this week, each designed with a unique focus on practicality and future usability.
The brand, known for launching smartphones almost every month, has also been experimenting with out-of-the-box ideas that may seem unusual now but could prove valuable in the years ahead. At the Realme 828 Festival, the company showcased two such concepts—one aimed at longevity and the other at gaming enthusiasts.

Phone with a 15,000mAh Battery
The first concept is a smartphone featuring an enormous 15,000mAh battery. While it’s not the largest battery ever on a phone, Realme positions this device as both a smartphone and a portable power station, capable of charging other gadgets. According to the brand, a single charge could let you watch up to 25 movies back-to-back—though details about video quality and brightness settings weren’t shared. In practical terms, the phone could last around five days on one charge.
Design-wise, the device is expected to feature a horizontal dual-camera setup at the back, with “15,000mAh” prominently branded on its body. Despite the massive battery, it looks relatively slim, which may be due to the use of silicon-carbon battery technology.
Phone with an Integrated Cooling Fan
The second concept phone is tailored for gamers. While cooling systems aren’t entirely new in smartphones, this model incorporates a dedicated air vent on the left frame to dissipate heat. Realme claims the setup can reduce the device’s temperature by about 6°C, a noticeable improvement during extended gaming sessions.
As of now, Realme hasn’t revealed the complete specifications or launch timelines for these devices. However, both concepts highlight the company’s commitment to experimenting with features that push beyond conventional smartphone design.
