JAMMU: A 45-year-old woman and her teenage son tragically drowned in a stream in Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday, police reported.
Zulfan Begum and her 15-year-old son, Basharat Hussain, were crossing Shadole Nallah en route to their Kansoli village when they were swept away by a strong current near Gagnawali in the Mahore area.
While Zulfan Begum’s body has been recovered from the stream, authorities are continuing the search for Basharat Hussain.
