Srinagar: On Monday, the Jammu and Kashmir government entrusted Dr. Piyush Singla, IAS (AGMUT:2012), with the additional charge of Administrative Secretary of the Information Department.
Currently, Dr. Singla serves as Secretary of the Information Technology Department and also holds the charge of Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department. According to the official order, he will oversee the Information Department until M. Raju, IAS (AGMUT:2005), resumes from leave.
The decision has been taken “in the interest of administration” to ensure the smooth functioning of the departments.
