Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan reunited with his Kuch Kuch Hota Hai co-star Rani Mukerji to celebrate her National Award win.
On Monday, SRK shared a heartwarming video with Rani, where the duo was seen grooving to the song Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri from The Ba**ds of Bollywood.* Despite recovering from an arm injury, Shah Rukh pulled off the dance moves with ease, while Rani matched his steps gracefully, recreating their on-screen magic.
In his caption, the Jawan star congratulated Rani on her milestone win, writing:
“National award… hum dono ki adhoori khwahish poori ho gayi… yay… congratulations Rani, you are a queen and love you always.”
The reunion left fans thrilled, with many calling them “Rahul and Tina” and expressing surprise at the unexpected moment.
Rani Mukerji bagged the National Award for Best Actress for her powerful performance in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. This marks her first-ever National Award in nearly three decades of her career.
“I’m overwhelmed to have won the National Award for my performance in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. Incidentally, this is the first-ever National Award in my 30-year career. As an actor, I have been fortunate to work on some incredible films and receive immense love for them. I thank the National Award jury for honouring my work,” Rani said in a statement.
Shah Rukh Khan too received his first National Film Award for Best Actor for Jawan. “To be honoured with a National Award is a moment I will cherish for a lifetime,” he said in his reaction.
