JAMMU: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Tuesday announced that all government and private schools across the Jammu Division will remain closed on September 3 due to adverse weather conditions.

According to an official order, the decision follows a weather advisory warning of heavy rainfall, cloudbursts, flash floods, and landslides, which could endanger the safety of students and staff.

The DSEJ also directed schools to conduct online classes wherever possible to ensure that academic activities continue without disruption.
