Srinagar: The Traffic Department on Thursday morning announced that the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, Mughal Road and Sinthan Road remain closed, though restoration work is underway to reopen them.
An official said, “NHW, Mughal Road and Sinthan Road are still shut. Efforts to restore connectivity are in progress. People are advised not to travel on these routes until the work is completed.”
The department also urged commuters not to pay heed to rumours, adding that traffic on the SSG Road is moving smoothly as per the issued advisory.
Travelers have been asked to verify the latest road status through the official Twitter, Facebook and TCU helplines of J&K Traffic Police before planning their journey.
