Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Thursday urged residents to stay calm and rely solely on official advisories.
“People need not worry. It is important to avoid rumours and follow the instructions issued by authorities,” he told reporters in Srinagar.
Addressing concerns about essential supplies, Garg said there is no shortage. “We have ample stock of essentials, and thankfully, communication services are functioning smoothly. Telecom, water, and electricity services are running without any disruption,” he added.
He further assured that administration teams are deployed wherever needed. “Follow the advisories, and in case of emergencies, contact the helpline numbers provided. Assistance will be dispatched immediately,” the Divisional Commissioner said.
