MUMBAI: The Mumbai police have issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, in connection with a Rs 60 crore cheating case, officials confirmed on Friday.
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the city police issued the LOC as the couple frequently travels abroad, an official added.
A case was registered against Shetty and Kundra at Juhu police station on August 14 for allegedly defrauding a businessman of nearly Rs 60 crore in a loan-cum-investment deal.
A Lookout Circular is a tool used to monitor a person’s movements and prevent them from leaving the country, with alerts sent to immigration and border control authorities.
