Srinagar: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway remains closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, while traffic on the Mughal Road is operating normally.
An official stated that only light motor vehicles (LMVs) are allowed on the Mughal Road and SSG Road, as per the current advisory.
However, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway continues to be closed. Restoration work is underway, and travelers are advised not to attempt the journey on NH-44 until the work is completed.
The official also urged people not to rely on rumors and to check the latest road status via the Traffic Police’s Twitter handle, Facebook page, or Traffic Control Units (TCUs).
