New Delhi: Srinagar will host the third Asian Junior Pencak Silat Championship from September 25 to 30.
The event is being organized by the Indian Pencak Silat Federation in collaboration with the Pencak Silat Federation of Asia (PFA), the International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT), the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
According to the Indian Pencak Silat Federation, the championship is expected to attract around 300 athletes, coaches, and officials from 12 countries.
Competitions will be held across multiple categories, including Tanding (fighting/match), Tunggal (single-player artistic), Ganda (two-player artistic team), and Regu (three-player artistic team), for both boys and girls.
