SRINAGAR: An encounter erupted between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday, officials said.
According to officials, security forces launched a search operation in the Gudar forest area after receiving inputs about the presence of terrorists.
The operation escalated into an encounter when the terrorists opened fire on the security personnel, they added.
