RAJOURI: A three-day District Process Lab Training Programme under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan began today at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. Scheduled from September 8 to 10, the programme aims to enhance the capacity of field staff to strengthen governance and development initiatives in tribal areas.
The event was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, who highlighted the shared responsibility of all stakeholders in the upliftment of tribal communities. He emphasized that meaningful outcomes can only be achieved through coordinated efforts and collaboration to bridge gaps in key development indicators.
Reiterating the district’s vision for tribal empowerment, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of building self-reliant, resilient, and inclusive communities across all 104 tribal villages of Rajouri. He noted that ensuring every household benefits from government schemes would significantly improve governance and promote holistic tribal development.
The training programme focuses on capacity-building through skill development workshops, interactive sessions, and the implementation of the Dharti Aabha Plan for sustainable and inclusive tribal growth. It also encourages grassroots participation, engaging Aadi Karmayogis, Aadi Sahyoogis, and Aadi Saathis in the effective execution of welfare schemes and programmes.
Serving as a platform to align strategies and strengthen frontline staff, the three-day District Process Lab aims to ensure last-mile delivery of services and foster inclusive growth in tribal areas.
The programme was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development Auqil Nuvaid, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Sheraz Chowhan, District Social Welfare Officer Abdul Raheem, Chief Agriculture Officer Madan Gopal Singh, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manohar Rana, and other officials.
