JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Jammu has instructed all relevant agencies to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety amid ongoing works on the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, particularly along the Kunjwani, Satwari, and Narwal-Kunjwani stretches. The directives were issued to NHAI officials and other concerned authorities during the DC’s inspection of the area.
The Deputy Commissioner visited multiple points along the project, from Qasim Nagar and Narwal up to Satwari, and assured the public that the measures decided during the inspection will be implemented within seven days, ensuring safer and more efficient traffic movement.
He was accompanied by SSP Joginder Singh; SSP Traffic Jammu Farooq Qaiser; ACR Dr. Rajesh Kumar; SDM Jammu South Manu Hansa; and Tehsildar Jammu South Arti Bhardwaj.
