Mumbai: The highly anticipated trailer of Aryan Khan’s The Ba**ds of Bollywood* has finally dropped, promising a full-blown masala entertainer.

Packed with action, drama, romance, comedy, and star-studded cameos, the trailer offers a glimpse into the raw, glamorous, and gritty world of Bollywood.

One of the biggest highlights is superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo, where he revives his iconic Badshah aura. Appearing at the end of the trailer, SRK is introduced with the title track from his 1999 hit Baadshah. In the scene, Manoj Pahwa mistakes him for someone else, hurling insults before SRK makes a hilarious and grand entry, only to be stopped from entering a vanity van. The moment instantly became a fan favourite, sparking buzz across social media.

Fan pages like Shah Rukh Khan Universe celebrated the cameo, declaring, “When King Khan enters the frame, the screen sets on fire.” Netflix India too joined in with the tease: “Badshah ki entry toh ab hogi.”

Viewers praised Aryan Khan’s decision to feature the epic trio—Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan—together, calling it a historic moment in Indian cinema.

The trailer itself follows Aasmaan Singh, an aspiring actor who makes a successful entry into Bollywood, only to clash with India’s biggest superstar, Ajay Talvar (played by Bobby Deol), who is determined to launch his daughter. Alongside this gripping rivalry, the trailer is peppered with cameos from Badshah, Disha Patani, SS Rajamouli, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Aamir Khan.

Ahead of the launch, the makers unveiled a new poster, seen as a subtle nod to Shah Rukh’s 1993 classic Baazigar. The trailer was released at a grand Mumbai event hosted by SRK himself, with the entire cast, director Aryan Khan, and producer Gauri Khan in attendance.

Two songs—Badli Si Hawa Hai and Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri—have already been released, adding to the buzz.

Starring Lakshya and Sahher Bambba in the lead, the show also features Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Karan Johar, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Anya Singh, Gautami Kapoor, Rajat Bedi, and Vijayant Kohli.

Written and directed by Aryan Khan, The Ba**ds of Bollywood* premieres on September 18 on Netflix.
