Anantnag Police Seize 95 kg of Narcotics in Major Raid

Anantnag: Police in Anantnag recovered a massive consignment of narcotics, weighing approximately 95 kilograms, during a raid at a rented property in the Grendash area under Police Station Aishmuqam.

The operation, conducted under the supervision of SDPO Pahalgam and in the presence of the Executive Magistrate, led to the seizure of six bags of contraband (Fukki), comprising both ground material and pods.

One individual, identified as Parvez Ahmed Boked, son of Bashir Ahmed Boked of Ainobra, was apprehended at the scene. The main suspect, Mukhtar Ahmed Boked, son of Rafiq Ahmed Boked of Jammu (currently in Grendash), managed to escape. Police have launched a manhunt to apprehend him.

A case has been registered under FIR No. 62/2025 at Police Station Aishmuqam under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, and investigations are ongoing to dismantle the entire network.
