NEW DELHI: Hero MotoCorp on Wednesday announced a price cut of up to Rs 15,743 across select models, passing on the full benefit of the recent GST rate reduction to customers.
The revised prices will take effect from September 22, the company said in a regulatory filing. Customers can now save up to Rs 15,743 (ex-showroom Delhi) on popular motorcycles such as the Splendor+, Glamour, Xtreme range, and scooters including the Xoom, Destini, and Pleasure+.
Hero MotoCorp CEO Vikram Kasbekar welcomed the GST 2.0 reforms, calling them a catalyst for boosting consumption, driving GDP growth, and advancing India’s path toward a USD 5 trillion economy.
“Over half of Indian households rely on two-wheelers for daily mobility, making this move critical for mass transportation,” Kasbekar said. He added that the timing—just ahead of the festive season—will make two-wheelers more affordable and accessible, while also providing a strong push to demand.
