Islamabad: Nineteen terrorists were killed in three separate operations in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the military announced on Thursday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, intelligence-based operations were conducted in Mohmand, North Waziristan, and Bannu districts.
In Mohmand, 14 terrorists were killed following a fierce exchange of fire with security forces. In North Waziristan, four more terrorists were neutralized, while one terrorist was killed in Bannu, the ISPR added.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, who had been involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. Security forces continue to conduct operations to eliminate any remaining threats.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating terrorism from Pakistan.
