JAMMU: Security forces foiled an arms smuggling attempt along the International Border in the R S Pura sector on Tuesday, seizing an AK assault rifle and a magazine, officials said.
The recovery was made during a joint search operation by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Arnia police, following intelligence about suspicious activity, they added.
Officials said the search operation in the area was still underway at the time of the last report.
