JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Minhas, today carried out an extensive visit to RS Pura to evaluate the damage to agricultural land and surrounding areas along the Tawi River caused by recent floods.
During the inspection, he interacted with local residents and farmers to gain a firsthand understanding of the losses suffered. He highlighted that the administration had conducted a thorough assessment of the situation.
Relief materials were distributed on the spot to households affected by the floods. The Deputy Commissioner assured that all necessary measures are being undertaken for the rehabilitation of affected families and the restoration of normalcy in the region.
