SRINAGAR: The Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, today met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to discuss key issues impacting the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the aftermath of recent natural calamities.
Shri Sharma highlighted critical concerns regarding road connectivity, delivery of essential services, and healthcare, especially in areas cut off by floods and landslides. He also raised the need for prompt restoration of power and water supply in flood-affected and hilly regions, along with increased financial assistance for affected families.
Additionally, Shri Sharma requested the postponement of competitive examinations, including the JKPSC Lecturer recruitment and Munsiff exams.
The Lieutenant Governor assured that all the issues discussed would be addressed on a priority basis to ensure timely resolution.
